After the morning’s Paying Homage Ceremony, Leong San Tong Khoo Kongsi held its usual Annual Dinner honouring Khoo clansmen, who have graduated and who have been given awards for community service. This year it was held at Jade Palace at 7.30 p.m. Over 400 clansmen and guests attended this dinner.
The Master of Ceremony for the evening was Khoo Lean Huat, who gave a welcoming speech, followed by a speech from the President, Dato’ Seri Khoo Keat Siew. Then plaques were presented to Awards Recipients and for the graduates, they were given plaques and ang pows. It was a memorable evening for all present.
